Film Screening: Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am In-Person

To celebrate the life and work of the legendary Nobel Prize-winning author, Toni Morrison, who passed away in August 2019, we are screening the documentary, Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am (2019). The film features interviews with the author and many of her friends and contemporaries, including Sonia Sanchez, Oprah Winfrey, and Walter Mosley, and it includes critical discussions of her many notable books. The film will be introduced by E-town professor of English and member of the Women and Gender Studies faculty, Dr. Kimberly Adams.

This program, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Title IX, the High Library, the English Department, and the Women and Gender Studies program.

Please note that seating will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
