Wonder Women: Amazons, Warriors, and Witches in Greek Mythology In-Person
Ever wonder where Wonder Woman came from? Marvel at the powers of Captain Marvel? Feel in the dark about Black Widow? Join Jennifer Besse, from the English department, on the library’s main level where she will speak about the Greek mythology which inspired our modern, comic-book superwomen. Using Greek art and literature, she will make connections between the heroic women of the ancient world and their modern counterparts.
This event is free and open to the public.
