Art Exhibit: Hands for Peace: Drawings by Jessica Cox In-Person
Jessica’s art exhibit was inspired, in part, by her studies with Jon Rudy in his course “Peace Building Trends and Themes.” Jessica says, “[his course] opened my eyes to multiple movements and peaceful strategies around the globe. Some of these pieces are inspired by those events while others are inspired by my time in South Africa. I think our hands show how human we are. Our hands can physically hold each other together while representing that we are unified as a global society.”
Stop by the library and take a look at Jessica’s artwork which will be on display througout the month of September. Jessica is a sophomore Sociology/Anthropology major with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies.
