Group Study Room Policy
- Groups of 2 or more students may use the High Library’s reservation system to reserve a study room on Level 3 for collaborative work.
- Please do not reserve a study room if you are working by yourself. However, any study room without an active reservation is available to any student(s) on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A room can be reserved for up to 3 hours at a time.
- A reservation can be placed up to 6 weeks in advance.
- There is a 15-minute grace period on reservations. If a group has not arrived within 15 minutes of the reservation’s start time, the reservation is considered canceled, and other students may occupy the room.
- If students are occupying a room that you have reserved for your group, and you’ve arrived within the 15-minute grace period of your reservation’s start time, please share your reservation confirmation with those students and politely ask them to leave. If the students remain in the room, please ask the High Library’s staff for assistance.
- Do not leave personal items in the room to hold the space. The High Library is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal items left unattended.
- Groups should vacate the room promptly at the end of their reservation.
- The High Library offers many public and private study areas. Try them all! Level 2 has many spaces designed for groups. Level 1 is a “silent floor” for students working by themselves.
