Dr. Jeffery Long: The Transcendental Beatles: Hinduism in the Music and Lives of John, Paul, George, and Ringo In-Person
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the release of the Beatles' album “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,” join Jeffery Long, professor of religion and Asian studies, as he presents an exploration of the Hindu themes in the music and lives of the Beatles. As John Lennon might say, “A splendid time is guaranteed for all!”
The program also will feature live music performances of Beatles music by an Elizabethtown College student.
